Safety & Compliance Division

Arctic Transport LLC is looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Manager / Head of Safety & Compliance to join our team!

We operate a fleet of approximately 30 trucks and are looking for someone who understands trucking safety, DOT/FMCSA regulations, driver compliance, and claims management.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the company’s Safety & Compliance Department
- Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Maintain and review driver qualification files
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), ELD, inspections, and violations
- Review driver safety performance and provide coaching
- Handle accident investigations and documentation
- Manage and follow up on company insurance claims
- Communicate with insurance companies and other parties regarding claims
- Develop and maintain safety procedures and company policies
- Prepare safety reports for company management
- Assist drivers with safety and compliance questions
- Be available for 24/7 emergency accident response when necessary
- Work closely with Fleet, Recruiting, Dispatch, and Management

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience in trucking safety or transportation compliance
- Good knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Experience with HOS, ELD systems, inspections, and driver files
- Experience handling accidents and claims is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions
- Leadership skills and attention to detail
- Professional and dependable attitude

Salary: Approximately $2000 a month depending on experience and qualifications.
