Group Financial Controller & Reporting Officer

We are hiring Group Financial Controller for our trusted partner vehicle transportation and logistics company
The role includes a prospect to transition into the CFO role within 24-36 months:
Not just another Controller role. This is a structured pathway to CFO.

Required:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in audit, financial reporting, or controllership, including experience with a Top 10 global audit firm or a multinational company.
- CPA or IFRS-based professional qualification (ACCA, DipIFR) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including group consolidation, inter company eliminations, and financial statement preparation with disclosures.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, and elimination entries.
- Experience managing or supporting an external audit from the client side, or equivalent experience leading audits from the firm side.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting processes, including building budget models and variance analysis.
- Working knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting (design, documentation, and monitoring).
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Fluent English (minimum B2, written and spoken) for direct communication with U.S.-based executives, staff, and external auditors.
- Ability to work a USA CST-aligned schedule (Mon–Fri 04:00–12:00 CST) in Chisinau office, Moldova

Strong Advantage:
- NetSuite experience, particularly multi-entity/OneWorld configurations and consolidation.
- Experience in the transportation, logistics, or asset-heavy sector.
- Exposure to U.S. tax compliance concepts (federal/state).
- Experience providing technical accounting guidance across multiple teams or entities.
- Experience in a group/holding structure with mixed-geography entities.
