Full-Stack Developer (Senior&Middle+) (TypeScript/Python/AWS)

We are hiring:

Central Dev is a software partner helping startups, scale-ups, and enterprises build and scale their products through outsourcing, consulting, and extended-team engagements. We work across web and mobile apps, enterprise dashboards, AI integrations, cloud infrastructure, and UI/UX. The common thread is reliable delivery, clear communication, and real technical depth.

Right now we're starting a greenfield build for a US client: a multi-tenant SaaS platform that runs home service companies end to end — customers, scheduling and dispatch, estimating and invoicing, financials, and marketing. This are the first engineering seats on the project.

Responsibilities:

• Design and own the multi-tenant PostgreSQL schema — tenant scoping on every table, soft deletes, audit columns, naming conventions, and a migration strategy that holds up as the team grows
• Implement authentication and identity with Auth0, and build a central permission engine that every module calls instead of reimplementing
• Build the audit trail: who changed what, when, old value and new value
• Set up and own the environments — AWS and Vercel, CI/CD pipelines, staging and production parity, secrets management, monitoring, and backups
• Build the first shared services: API manager (keys, OAuth, rate limits, versioning), notifications, search, and file and photo storage
• Integrate third-party systems for accounting, payments, telephony, and mapping, including the messy parts — retries, webhooks, rate limits, and partial failures
• Review the client's inherited codebase and decide what carries forward and what gets rebuilt
• Set engineering conventions, review code, and mentor the developers who join after you
• Work directly with the client's product owner to turn detailed specs into technical decisions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both backend and frontend
• Strong commercial experience with React
• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL — data modeling, indexing, migrations, and query tuning
• Experience designing multi-tenant data models and enforcing tenant isolation
• Experience deploying and operating production workloads on AWS
• Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
• Experience implementing authentication and role-based access control
• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, testing, and Agile practices
• Comfortable reading and reasoning about an unfamiliar codebase before rewriting it
• English B2+ — daily written and spoken communication with a US-based client

Nice to have:

• Experience with Auth0 for authentication and identity management
• Experience with event-driven architecture and workflow engines
• Experience deploying to Vercel
• Background in field service, dispatch, ERP, or CRM software
• Accounting or payments integrations (QuickBooks, Stripe, Authorize.net)
• Mapping, routing, or geolocation systems
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools
