Role Objectives
Promote Server, Storage and Virtualization solutions by translating client requirements into technical solutions and projects. Conduct technical assessments and gather requirements, design solution architectures, and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze client requirements across the following areas:
- Compute (Servers)
- Storage (SAN / NAS / Object)
- Virtualization
- Network
- Identify and recommend the most suitable solutions and vendors.
Define solution architectures in collaboration with Presales Architects, covering:
- Servers + Storage + SAN
- Virtualization platforms
- Data Center (DC) Networking
- GPU clusters
- Prepare solution descriptions, estimate implementation scope and costs, and develop technical and commercial proposals and client presentations.
- Present and defend proposed solutions to clients and participate in discussions about technical architecture.
- Work closely with sales teams and technical specialists to develop solutions that meet client needs.
Requirements
- Understanding of enterprise IT systems architecture.
- Understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability principles.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements (discovery), communicate effectively with clients, and identify their needs.
Experience and Technical Expertise
Experience: 3–5 years in IT projects, IT systems operations or presales,
Infrastructure:
- Server solutions.
- Storage (SAN / NAS / Object).
- SAN technologies.
Virtualization:
- VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- High availability (HA) and clustering.
Ethernet/IP Networking:
- L2/L3 architecture.
- VLANs, routing, and VXLAN.
The following would be an advantage:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Knowledge of backup solutions.
- Experience with GPU infrastructure.
Additional Requirements
- Experience working with enterprise clients.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with clients and explain complex solutions in clear, accessible language.
- Results-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to the sales process, from solution development to deal closure.
- Romanian is mandatory; Russian is required for communication with local teams and clients; English is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.
- Company office at UBC, Chișinău.
- Hybrid work is possible by agreement with the employer.
- 45.000 MDL, negotiable.
